Kate Winslow - Vocals
The band's newest member, Kate Winslow joined Brass Attack in 2015 as our very first female lead vocalist. Kate was born and raised in Rhode Island and began singing as soon as she could talk! She has always been involved in the fine arts and first took to the stage as a dancer at age three. Kate studied dance and voice at Mount Saint Charles and it was during this time that she decided to concentrate on her singing career, performing in many stage shows and music department performances as a soloist and member of the choir. She also participated in the Rhode Island All-State Choir as both a junior and senior, and often lent her voice for National Anthem performances for many sporting events while at Mount. Kate went on to study voice at the University of Rhode Island, where she majored in Marketing.
In addition to many of the latest Top-40 hits, Kate's incredibly soulful voice also brings to the band a wide range of old school R&B, Soul, Classic Rock, and Jazz Standards. Kate is certainly a welcome addition to the band bringing to the band a youthful, energetic "shot in the arm," a magnetic stage presence, and a magnificent voice delivering a diverse and very soulful repertoire of classic tracks you are sure to love. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Kate always "brings it" when she sings with Brass Attack!
